‘Saved by the Bell’ cast reunites to celebrate 30th anniversary

To celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the teen sitcom “Saved by the Bell,” its cast broke their bread for a reunion dinner last weekend.
The rally included cast members Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario Lopez (AC Slater), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), though a couple of fictional high school alumni from Bayside, Screech Powers (Dustin Diamond) and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies), were AWOL.
The group posted several photos on Instagram, including one of Thiessen which was captioned “Friends forever…”, referencing a song by the show’s fictional band, Zack Attack.
Spouses were also welcome, as Thiessen was joined at dinner by her husband Brady Smith, as was Lopez’s wife, Courtney Laine Mazza, who commented on Thiessen’s group photo: “I’m so full. I can not move.

Lopez also posted a video of the gang, joking in the caption, “Credit card roulette is coming!” with the hashtag “#OldSchool”.
It was not the first time that the cast met. Lopez and Thiessen made cocktails together last August on “Ellen”.
“Saved by the Bell” ran for four seasons from 1989 to 1992.
