Razavi Written Legacy Festival presents the AQR Encyclopedia as an exceptional work

The Astan Quds Razavi Encyclopedia was selected as an Outstanding Work in the second Razavi Written Heritage Festival.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Astan Quds Razavi Encyclopedia was selected as an Outstanding Work in the second Razavi Written Heritage Festival.

The festival, which was organized by the International Imam Reza Foundation in collaboration with the Iranian Book and Literature House and the Sadouqhi House of Culture, was organized with the aim of identifying masterpieces in books, theses and articles on Imam Reza, his culture, his life and his conduct.

The AQR Encyclopedia was published in two volumes by the Imam Reza Holy Shrine Islamic Research Foundation. This book introduces subjects such as characters, titles and careers, places, written works, precious objects in museums and organizations. It has a total of 400 entries to introduce different departments of the holy shrine.

Introductions are not just a description; rather, they have a historical look at the subjects and trace their origins back to the formation of the holy shrine. The content has been produced using a scientific method devoid of propaganda, and historical and contemporary documents, and methodical interviews form the backbone of the book.

The book also examines the various administrative bodies of the holy shrine, affiliated institutes, methods of performing religious ceremonies, affiliated universities and schools, libraries, endowments, etc.

The encyclopedia is therefore a launching pad for research on all things sacred shrine, which can eminently compensate for the shortcomings of research on the whole organization so far.
