Timothy E. Storer

RUMFORD – Timothy E. Storer, 93, of Weld, died Friday morning, February 4, 2022, at Rumford Community Home. He was born in Weld, May 25, 1928, the son of Cola E. and Esther V. (Conant) Storer and graduated valedictorian of his class at Weld High School. On November 29, 1947, he married Martha A. Dunbar in Weld. She died in January 1996.Mr. Storer worked at Oxford Paper Co. in Rumford. later known as Boise Cascade for many years and retired in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, driving his tractor and throwing firewood. He especially enjoyed spending time reminiscing and spending time with his family and friends under the large spruce tree in his front yard. He was a longtime member of Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge #154 AF and AM of Weld. He is survived by his children, Nathan Storer and his wife, Rhonda of Weld, Ann Storer and his companion, Stewart Buck of Weld, Scott Storer and his wife, Susan of Weld, Jane Proctor of Weld and Phoebe Storer of Weld; 6 grandchildren, Tim Storer and his wife, Deb de Weld, Darcy Berry and her husband, Beau de Carthage, Brian Proctor and his wife, Suzie de Turner, Cassie Lewis and her husband, Ken de Livermore, Angela Alexander and her husband , Jon from Farmington, Krista Ryder and her husband, Marcus from Oakland; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Storer of Wilton and Florida. He was predeceased by 14 siblings. Memorial services at the cemetery will be held Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Masonic services at the cemetery performed by members of Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge #154 AF and AM of Weld. Memories can be shared in his memory book at Cremation care and memorial services are supported and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center in Farmington. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations be considered Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge #154 AF and AM of Weld, PO Box 154, Weld, ME 04285.
