Look inside this “Winnie the Pooh” inspired storybook “Bearbnb”

An adorable custom-built ‘Bearbnb’ that resembles Winnie the Pooh’s treehouse has opened in England, offering a stay inspired by a rare storybook. Hosting the Airbnb stay as part of Disney’s 95th anniversary celebrations is Kim Raymond, a Disney-appointed Winnie the Pooh illustrator who has been drawing the iconic bear for more than three decades.
While bookings for the weekend of September 24-25 were quickly taken and the rental was only available to current UK residents, it’s fun to take a peek inside of this honey-sweet treehouse that appears to have been decorated by Winnie the Pooh himself.
The treehouse sleeps four and is nestled in Ashdown Forest, the area that inspired the hundred-acre woods inhabited by Pooh Bear and his friends.
Here’s a look at the interior:
Raymond worked with a team of experts to bring Winnie the Pooh’s “Treehouse” to life as depicted in AA Milne’s classic tales. To execute the design, the front of the house has tree branches wrapping around the red door with “Mr. Sanders” inscribed above.
Raymond designed a custom honey wallpaper and the space has major cottagecore vibes. Naturally, the kitchen cupboards are full of “cabbage pots”.
“The ‘Bearbnb’ is a unique experience that brings the charm of Pooh to life for fans, while honoring the original adventures that have been so important to so many for 95 years,” Raymond said in a press release.
The double bed is at ground level and the single beds are suspended at the mezzanine level, accessed by wooden ladders.
If you ever stay in the Bearbnb, just imagine putting on your favorite red t-shirt and lounging here:

The house rules are imbued with a bit of whimsy: “Multiple naps are allowed” and “strictly no heffalumps inside the house”. And of course, “a snack of ‘a little something’ encouraged at 11 am.”
The little cottage rented $ 124 a night. Hoping that this charming rental will reopen in the future!
