Police said they responded to the residence with an unknown problem. When they arrived, they learned that a shooting had taken place. They located Williams, who was transported to Riverside.
Preliminary information gathered by detectives indicated that Love had forcibly entered the residence and confronted Williams, police said. During the clash, the two men were hit by gunfire.

Police said the shooting was believed to be the result of a domestic issue involving Williams, Love and a woman they both knew.
