Fortune Magazine Ranks Florida Tech Online MBA Program Among Best in Nation

Florida Tech, ranked No. 95, was one of four Florida schools on the list
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech was included in Fortune magazine’s very first list which ranked the nation’s top online MBA programs.
The magazine invited over 200 online MBA programs to participate, with programs ranked based on four elements: program score, Fortune 1000 score, brand score, and prestige score.
Florida Tech, ranked No. 95, was one of four Florida schools on the list.
The ranking components have brought together a multitude of metrics and metrics:
■ Program rating: Calculated using a 29-question form, this metric measured the academic strength of incoming students by taking into account the average GPA and GMAT scores of incoming students, as well as student body size, retention rate year and graduation rate.
■ Brand note: Working with Ipsos, Fortune surveyed 2,500 hiring professionals and managers to get their thoughts on specific business schools as a whole, not just online programs.
■ Fortune 1000 score: This looked at the number of former MBAs from each school who are executives (C suite only) at Fortune 1000
■ Prestige note: This score was developed by compiling top rankings from other publications and outlets, including Princeton Review and US News & World Report.
“In 2020, recruiters reported paying median salaries of $ 115,000 to top MBA graduates, which is 70% more than they paid to top bachelor’s degree holders,” Fortune said in presenting its ranking . “Not only is the MBA alive and well, it’s thriving. “
