“Eli, what have you done?” Five Things We Learned From Peyton & Eli’s Monday Night Football TV Show

Mondays just got a lot more fun thanks to the Manning brothers.
Peyton Manning and Eli Manning used their Monday Night Football debut with Peyton and Eli MegaCast in the Baltimore Ravens vs. Las Vegas Raiders game to prove they’re just as fun to watch in the unconventional booth (read: production room remotely) as they were in the field.
Not only did Peyton remind us of what we already knew – that he’s a veritable walking encyclopedia of the game – but he and Eli gave everyone listening in on the game invaluable insight.
I’m not sure I’d be good at it, but Peyton and Eli are crushing him. I am learning so much to listen to them and I feel like they are with me on my couch. What an innovative and creative idea.

Damn, even if you laugh at the X’s and O’s in football, the incessant tweeting of siblings and story time with guests Charles Barkley, Ray Lewis, Travis Kelce and Russell Wilson were enough reasons to tune in. .
From Peyton blaming his younger brother for a stray fire alarm to Eli clowning his older brother for the size of his forehead, here are five things we learned from the show:
Peyton has zero tolerance for noise when the home team is on offense …
“Drink your beer, calm down and let [Derek] Carr plays the quarterback. ” – Peyton on Raiders fans are too loud
“He had coached this stadium. Fans would be fined if they spoke when the Colts were on offense. If a guy tried to order a beer, everyone would tell him to calm down until the defense was on the line. ground.” – Eli on Peyton’s time as QB in Indianapolis
Eli and Peyton make a bad impression on Derek Carr and Jon Gruden …
“I’ve always wanted to play Jon Gruden. That’s what Jon Gruden says to Derek Carr in the helmet.”

Eli isn’t shy when it comes to Peyton’s forehead …
“It’s shocking that a helmet doesn’t suit you. They didn’t have an XXL helmet for that front.” – Eli when Peyton tried to do a one-piece demo
“You need a little more powder on that forehead, looks like you’ve sprayed Pam all over.” – Eli when Peyton was talking about fine-fit helmets
Travis Kelce doesn’t really know who the Chiefs will play against on Sunday …
“[Watching this game] I’m not trying to be too technical because I think we’re playing the Chargers this week. Oh wait, maybe we play in Baltimore. I don’t even know I’m getting lost in the season already. ” – Kelce who Kansas City is playing on in week 2

“Hey Travis, just to let you know, you’re playing against the Ravens next week, so make sure you don’t fly to Los Angeles to play against the Chargers.” – Peyton
Peyton treats Eli like the little brother he is …
“Eli, what have you done?” ” – Peyton when a fire alarm interrupted their broadcast
