Book Cycle is the newest arrival at the Spinning Gate mall

A VOLUNTEER-run bookstore is the latest addition inside the Spinning Gate Mall.

With branches located from Wigan to Rome, Book Cycle offers its customers the free supply of books and educational resources.

Occupying premises at the end of the Spinning Gate car park, the charity also focuses on sustainability and is involved in projects such as reforestation, growing food at home, community gardening and promoting wildlife.

Customers can choose up to three items a day to take home from Book Cycle, with a range of fiction and non-fiction books, for children and adults, as well as DVDs, CDs and vinyl records available.

With thousands of books available in the Book Cycle Library stock, this is made possible through public donations with people invited to donate when they bring an item home.
