A look inside Tammy and Jim Watson’s home and interior design
Twenty-two years ago Tammy and Jim moved into their beautiful home. Built in 1923, the Watsons are just the third owners of this nearly 100-year-old gem. Throughout these twenty-two years, three boys have been brought up as men and many memories have been created. Their favorite activity is to entertain; rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, graduation parties and many other celebrations have all been held here. Seventeen years ago they added the back porch to keep the parties going outside. Mark Dullea designed the outdoor area frequently used for watching football. Graham Kimak was the landscaper.
Upon entering the house you feel like a place you have been before. Maybe it was for a party or a nice dinner around the kitchen table. It is clear that a lot of love and laughter is inside these walls. “The way he feels and smells, it’s just at home. It just makes me happy, ”Tammy says. One of his sons loves the house so much that he wrote a college article titled “On the Dinner Table” which focused on the conversations and fun he had growing up, eating at the table with his friends and his family.
No setting could be as precious as the unforgettable memories and stunning family photos inside the Watson Residence. It is every parent’s dream to own a storybook house like this. A warm home decorated with endless eye-catching artwork, beautiful design inside and out, and well-placed meaningful photos of their happy family.
